World's fattest kid: This 10-year-old boy weighs 192 kg

Hailing from Indonesia's West Java province, Arya Permana weighs 192 kg, and is the world's fattest boy.

The young boy had to quit going to school because he gets out of breath after walking a few steps. Arya wears only a sarong because his parents no longer can find clothes that fit him.

He sleeps with his head leaned against a wall so that he is able to breathe easily but the posture has given him a permanent bruised forehead. The obese kid often experiences shortness of breath.

According to local reports, people have been travelling from nearby villages to view the boy dubbed "the world's fattest child". 

During Ramadan, the 10-year-old even fasted for the first half of the day but had to discontinue this practice because of increasing stomach pains. 

After the doctors warned that his extreme obesity is life-threatening, his parents have kept him on an emergency diet of brown rice.

However his mother, Rokayah, was left confused when a doctor during a recent hospital check-up declared Arya was "healthy". She is clueless about the reason behind her son's recent weight gain.
