9th Black Sea Neurosurgical Congress to take place in Armenia on October 8-10

October 7, 2015  11:35

The 9th Black Sea Neurosurgical Congress will be held on October 8-10, 2015, in Yerevan, Armenia.

According to Head Neurosurgeon of the Republic of Armenia, congress president prof. Ruben Fanarjyan, neurosurgery is one of the most rapidly developing fields of medical science thanks to scientific and technical progress. There is no other way on being up to date with worldwide neuroscience except sharing our experience and knowledge. Following the best traditions, the Congress will aim to provide the opportunity to share the international and regional knowledge acquired within the last decades. It will provide a ground for building communication, partnership and, of course, friendship among neurosurgeons in the Black Sea Region.

The history of this Congress has begun in 1999 when it was first organized in Constanta Harbor, Romania. The second Congress was organized in Thessaloniki, Greece (2001) followed by Odessa, Ukraine (2003), Chisinau, Moldova (2005), Krasnodar, Russia (2007), Istanbul, Turkey (2009), Sofia, Bulgaria (2011) and finally, in Tbilisi, Georgia (2013). We are happy to host the Congress in 2015 in our beautiful capital of Armenia, Yerevan.

The congress’ opening ceremony will start at 10:00, on October 8. The registration will start at 8:30.
