What drink will help get rid of belly fat?

Green tea helps get rid of excess weight and lose belly fat, according to Dr. Tim Bond.

According to a 2021 paper by the Tea Advisory Panel (TAP), green tea helps get rid of visceral fat surrounding vital organs in the abdomen, the specialist told Daily Express.

"Green tea can reduce visceral fat by impacting thermogenesis (fat burning), oxidation of energy substrates (e.g. fat and protein), appetite suppression and reduction in enzymes involved in liver fat metabolism," Bond said.

Green tea also contains catechins, which act as strong antioxidants.

Doenjang soybean paste, which is widely used in Korea, also helps fight obesity and fat deposits in the abdominal area.

Some experts also recommend reducing sugar and simple carbohydrate intake, switching to interval fasting, and practicing high-intensity exercise to get rid of belly fat.
