Israeli researchers develop protein-based method to treat cancer
Israeli researchers have developed a new method for targeted neutralization of proteins involved in the development of cancer, said a study published by Ben-Gurion University (BGU) on Monday.
According to Xinhua, the study used big-data analysis methods for the development of targeted drugs for the first time.
Recent studies have found that proteins and their interactions have a significant role in the development of diseases such as cancer.
The BGU researchers have developed an innovative method for developing drugs that inhibit protein targets involved in the development of diseases, especially cancer.
The uniqueness of the method is that it allows targeted neutralization of a protein without harming other harmless proteins.
