Dengue fever
Dengue fever is a dangerous infectious disease, the main symptoms of which are muscle pain, fever, severe headaches, and pain behind the eyes. With a hemorrhagic form of fever, mortality is about 50%.
Yellow fever
Yellow fever is an acute viral disease, the main symptoms of which are fever, headaches, muscle pain, jaundice, nausea, fatigue, and severe vomiting. Every year, yellow fever affects about 200,000 people in the world, of which 30,000 die.
Zika
Zika is a relatively recent viral infection found in tropical and subtropical regions. The virus is especially dangerous for unborn children, as it affects their intrauterine development, causing them microcephaly or a decrease in the size of the head and brain.
Chikungunya
This is a viral disease accompanied by fever, rash, nausea, fatigue and a general deterioration in well-being. There are no medicines and vaccines against this disease yet, the treatment is aimed at relieving pain and alleviating the general condition. Approximately 1 of 1,000 patients die.
Malaria
Malaria is often manifested by symptoms such as fever, impaired consciousness, respiratory distress, and signs of anemia. Malaria still kills a huge number of people, especially in the poorest countries of the world.
