October 17, 2019  19:10

The tallest man in the US, Igor Vovkovinskiy, admitted that he needs heart surgery, Daily Mail reported.

Vovkovinskiy, whose height is more than 230 cm, released a video on Wednesday in which he said that he needed surgery on a sick heart, and this problem worries him from birth.

'I'm in the heart failure unit and I found out just a couple of days ago that I need surgery to fix...some kind of a valve issue that I was born with. But I don't know if even such a surgery can be done on someone my size.'

Vovkovinskiy suffers from a pituitary tumor of the brain that produces a hormone, because of which it does not stop growing.
