Woman looses her gall bladder and part of her stomach due to water with liquid nitrogen
Stacey Wagers from the US state of Florida lost her gallbladder and part of her abdomen after she drank from a glass that held liquid nitrogen.
According to Independent, Stacy sued the hotel after drinking a glass of water in a glass filled with liquid nitrogen during a friend’s birthday celebration in a hotel restaurant. The chemical most likely got into the victim’s drink after the waiter used it to create a smoke effect in the dessert of another restaurant guest.
She was taken to the nearest hospital, where doctors had to cut out her gallbladder and abdominal tissues that had died out as a result of freezing with liquid nitrogen.
The lawyer of the victim said that she lost about 11 kilograms and now she will suffer all her life due to digestive problems. The plaintiff requires the hotel $ 15,000 for injury, medical expenses and loss of wages during treatment.
