People working over 52 hours per week has risk of going bald, study says

People working more than 52 hours a week run the risk of losing their hair, according to a new study by Korean scientists involving 13,000 people.

According to Republic World, scientists attribute the increased risk of baldness to stress effects on hormones.

And changes in hormonal parameters are dangerous for the hair and can inhibit the growth of hair follicles. There is also reason to believe that the resting phase is changing and the hair eventually ceases to grow at all.

The author of the study, Kyung-Hun Son, noted that the conclusion is clear: if a person works too much, he risks losing his hair. And the restriction of working time can prevent the development of alopecia in men, especially in people 20-30 years old.
