How to reduce risk of suffering from heart attack? Researchers offer unusual option

February 18, 2020  14:20

Daytime sleep twice a week can reduce the risk of heart attack by 48 percent, researchers from Lausanne University say.

A five-day study was conducted among 3,400 people aged 35-75.

The study focused on the connection between frequency and continuity of daytime sleep. Risk of a heart attack increased in people who slept in the afternoon every day. Meanwhile, daytime sleep twice a week contained less risks to suffer a heart attack.
