Coronavirus death toll in Iran reaches 12

The number of victims from the coronavirus COVID-19 in Iran has reached 12, BBC reported.

As reported earlier, 43 cases of infection and eight deaths have been recorded in Iran. One patient recovered there, data on patients in serious / critical condition is not yet available.

According to the latest data, there are 61 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Iran, of which 34 - in Qom province, 13 - in Tehran, and six - in Gilan. It was decided to close schools and universities in Qom.

The total number of deaths from coronavirus worldwide, according to worldometers.info/coronavirus/, has reached 2628.
