The so-called dry eye syndrome can be a symptom of rheumatoid arthritis, Express reported referring to specialists.
The fact is that inflammation can affect collagen, which is the main component of connective tissue.
The sclera and cornea are also made of collagen, so dry eye syndrome can be a sign of rheumatoid arthritis.
According to experts, patients with this syndrome usually complain of a feeling that there is a foreign object in the eye, dryness and blurred vision.
