If using vaccination window, people will be more protected during upcoming elections, health ministry claims

April 29, 2021  12:25

Mass gatherings, especially if anti-epidemic rules are not followed, are a risk factor for the spread of COVID-19, acting health minister Anahit Avanesyan told reporters.

According to her, the health ministry has developed a framework of additional measures that will help organize the elections in such a way as to reduce the risk of spreading the infection as much as possible.

All citizens over 18 can be vaccinated against COVID-19 by applying to the precinct polyclinic.

AstraZeneca and Sputnik V vaccines are available for them, but a large number of Chinese vaccines are expected shortly, and negotiations are underway to purchase other vaccines.
