EU, WHO provide more ventilators to Armenia

The European Union (EU) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have donated 22 more ventilators to the Ministry of Health of Armenia, and which could save the lives of COVID-19 patients in the event of a severe course of this disease.

This equipment was provided as part of a wider package of assistance to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia; Lena Nanushyan, Deputy Minister of Health of Armenia; Egor Zaitsev, WHO representative in Armenia; and Shombi Sharp, UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia, visited the National Center for Provision of Medicines and Medical Supplies to receive the delivery of the new batch of these ventilators.
