Health minister: Armenia ready to receive, distribute vaccines requiring ice chain

September 2, 2021  13:08

There were no refrigeration conditions in Armenia last year, but they have been complemented in recent months. At the moment, the country is ready to receive and distribute vaccines that require an ice chain. The Minister of Health, Anahit Avanesyan, told this to reporters Thursday.

One such vaccine is Pfizer.

According to the minister, there will be new vaccines in Armenia against the coronavirus, but the exact dates are not known yet.

Also, Avanesyan noted that people in Armenia are now more informed about vaccines, they see that their employee, neighbor, or relative is being vaccinated but nothing happens to them, and therefore the people's trust towards these vaccines increases.
