Norway will send 620,400 doses of Moderna's Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine to Armenia as a gift. This is what Minister of Health of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan wrote on her Facebook page, adding the following:

“Yesterday we signed a trilateral contract between the Republic of Armenia, the Kingdom of The Netherlands and Moderna.

I thank the Kingdom of The Netherlands and Moderna for the efforts to overcome the pandemic.

The Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations of the European Commission will help transfer the new consignment.

I thank my team for implementing this major and difficult task.”
