How can lasers track spread of cancer?

May 29, 2022  09:37

A Northeastern University biomedical optics research group led by Professor Mark Niedre is working on an innovative solution to track the spread of cancer - a laser, Medical Xpress reported.

This technology no longer requires blood sampling and can be adapted to other types of blood testing.

They hope that this technology can be turned into a wearable device to help cancer patients be diagnosed more quickly and improve their prognosis when seeking medical care.
