Russia lifts all COVID-19 restrictions

Russia has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions.

"In connection with the ongoing decrease in the intensity of the epidemiological process, Rospotrebnadzor suspends the previously imposed restrictions,” the Russian health department said in a statement.

Now wearing masks and a ban on catering at night and a number of other restrictions have been lifted.

The report notes that if the situation with COVID-19 worsens in the country, restrictive measures may be resumed.

As of July 1, 546,956,347 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the world. Over the past day, 1,063,546 infected people have been registered. In terms of the number of detected cases of coronavirus (230,257,400), the European region leads, in terms of their growth (444,647) the American region.

In connection with the spread of COVID-19, Russia is taking anti-epidemic and preventive measures. At all border points, those arriving in the country from disadvantaged regions undergo double control. Since the end of 2019, 52,546,321 people have been examined in this way, 2,125 of them showed signs of infectious diseases.
