February 9, 2023  14:18

Minister of Healthcare of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan said that during the last two years, due to the coronavirus, the war and the deficit in the logistics and pharmaceutical markets in general, Armenia has applied the authority assigned to it by law and allowed the import of medicines of some European, American and Japanese countries into Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan told journalists after the government session today.

In his words, the goal is to prevent the medicine deficit in Armenia.

Avanesyan stressed that the importation of unregistered drugs into Armenia is under control.

"The import of unregistered drugs is under control, that is, it is controlled by both documents and countries of origin. We believe that by giving such authority, the law has given us a very important tool to deal with such situations. "
