One in five people who has tattoo faces side effects, experts warn

One in five people who has a tattoo or piercing face health problems, the experts from the Royal Society of Public Health warn.

The most common consequences were burning or swelling, the polling of 2,000 adults found, The Telegraph reported quoting the research.

Moreover, one in 10 of those who experienced side effects needed medical treatment.

However, the researches forecast that popularity of tattoos will increase in the future, as many people consider tattoos as the way to express their individuality.
