Measure your blood pressure with selfie

An interesting development of specialists from the University of Toronto (Canada) will quickly and accurately measure blood pressure.

The transdermal optical imaging technology allows you to measure blood pressure thanks to a selfie.

For a “miracle selfie” it’s enough to download a special mobile app that takes up to 900 pictures in 30 seconds. Data is processed using a special algorithm, and the diagnostic accuracy is 95%. The camera picks up red light coming from the face, which is reflected from proteins on the surface of the skin.

The technology has been successfully tested by volunteers and is expected to be released before the end of 2019.
