Climate change and weather conditions can adversely affect the health of all people, increasing the risk of seasonal allergies, heart and lung diseases. Climate change can also affect the effectiveness and safety of drugs, such as infusion solutions, Science Alert reported.

Global warming, according to scientists, can significantly worsen the work of the health systems of any countries. According to the results of several studies, patients with lung cancer have reduced survival if their treatment was interrupted due to natural disasters.

Experts also note that high air temperature and extreme weather conditions are most dangerous for pregnant women, children and the elderly.

As the average air temperature rises, plants produce more pollen for extended periods of time, which may contribute to the spread of allergies. According to scientists, as a result of global warming, allergies can occur in 20% of the world's population - and this is a very serious figure. An increase in carbon dioxide concentration can worsen symptoms, including nasal congestion, runny nose, and swelling of the mucous membrane.

High air temperatures also increase smog formation, which in turn increases the risk of preterm birth in pregnant women. In newborns, breathing problems and frequent infections can occur due to changes in weather conditions.

Other negative effects of climate change include frequent dehydration, skin cancer, intestinal infections, the spread of hemorrhagic fevers and other tropical diseases, stroke, mental and neurological disorders, as well as the high probability of injuries from accidents and violence due to the worsening demographic situation in the world.
