Aspirin boosts chances to cope with cancer, study claims

Taking aspirin one to three times a week increases your chances of coping with cancer, according to a study by the US National Institutes of Health.

RIA Novosti reported that experts studied the information collected over 12 years about over 140,000 Americans. It turned out that among those who used aspirin up to three times a week, there was lower mortality after the development of cancer of the prostate, colon, colon, lung and ovary.

This feature was found only in people with normal weight. The authors of the study noted the need for further study of the properties of aspirin to identify patterns between body mass index and drug efficacy.
