WHO Executive Director Dr. Peter Salama passes away
17:14 24 January, 2020World Health Organization Executive Director Dr. Peter Salama passed away on Friday.

WHO Executive Director, Universal Health Coverage – Life Course. Our deepest sympathies and condolences are with Pete’s family, friends and colleagues," said director general of the organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
Dr. Salama began working at WHO in 2016. He worked at UNICEF as a regional director who oversees the Middle East and North Africa.
