New coronavirus death toll reaches 2,011

The new COVID-19 coronavirus has caused 2,011 deaths so far throughout the world. In the last day alone, 137 such deaths have been reported in China, and one in Hong Kong. At least 75,216 people are infected with the virus.

According to worldometers.info/coronavirus/, a total of 14,634 patients have recovered, whereas 58,571 others are still ill, and 12,057 (21%) of them are in severe or critical condition.

The new coronavirus has been detected in 29 countries, primarily in China. Also, there were 81 cases in Singapore, 76 in Japan, 62 in Hong Kong, and 46 in South Korea.
