Is smartphone dirtier than public toilet?

Many people are afraid to touch the toilet, especially public toilets, but they touch smartphones - even while eating. However, it turns out the average smartphone is dirtier than the toilet.

Scientists from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine back in 2011 found that one can find particles of feces on every sixth smartphone. There are also a lot of potentially dangerous bacteria and viruses on our phones.

Theoretically, touching the phone, and then touching the eyes, nose, and lips with your hands may lead to having many different diseases - even a coronavirus infection.

Experts recommend regularly cleaning phones using disinfectants designed for mobile devices, along with microfiber cloths.
