Coronavirus caution should be respected by everyone, regardless of age or health, health minister says

Coronavirus infection is not a serious threat for children, but children can infect other more vulnerable people, Armenian health minister Arsen Torosyan told reporters on Thursday.

According to him, however, the infection can be dangerous for children with congenital or acquired immunodeficiency.

Until a coronavirus vaccine or effective medicine is developed, all people should be careful, he added.

“Both children and adults, people with chronic diseases, and healthy people should all follow the rules, especially taking care of the safety of people at risk,” the minister said.
