Mehr: Over 50,000 COVID-19 infected in Iran

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Iran has reached 53,183 8, with a total death toll of 3,294 and 17,935 recovered, said Iran’s health ministry spokesman Kianoush Jahanpour.

According to Jahanpour, over the past 24 hours, 2715 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Iran. And 134 patients died in a day, Mehr reported. 

Jahanpour added that to date, Iran has tested over 69 million Iranians.
