Armenian boy David Avagyan, 7, who needed urgent removal of a brain tumor, has been operated in Moscow. He was transported from Yerevan to Moscow with the participation of RT.

According to the source, his family overcame many difficulties before reaching Moscow amid the coronavirus outbreak and self-isolations.

After all the difficulties, the tumor was finally removed. The operation was carried out by Yuri Kushel, a colleague of Armen Melikyan. The latter was supposed to operate the boy but has been self-isolated.

David has already been transferred from resuscitation to a regular ward, and an analysis is underway to show whether the neoplasm was malignant. If so, he will be treated by an oncologist.
