Worldometers.info: Number of people infected with novel coronavirus nearing 1.5mn worldwide

The novel coronavirus has already infected 1,432,373 people worldwide, and the death toll from COVID-19 has risen to 82,114. According to worldometers.info/coronavirus/, 302,288 patients have recovered, whereas 1,047,971 others are still receiving treatment, and 47,916 of them are in either severe or critical condition.

This disease has been detected in 209 countries. As before, the largest number of infected people is in the United States—400,540, with 205 new cases in the last day. During the same period, 16 people died there as a result of COVID-19, and the total number of casualties has reached 12,857.

In Spain, there are 141,942 coronavirus cases and 14,045 deaths so far, while in Italy there are 135,586 cases of the infection and 17,127 deaths.
