7,578 babies born in Armenia in the first quarter of 2020

A total of 7,578 children were born in Armenia in January-March 2020 - 3,038 of which were in Yerevan, and 4,540 in the regions, Armenian National Statistical Service reported.

For comparison, in 2019, the number of births was 7,952, and in 2018 - 8,297.
