Armenian neurosurgeon has two-sided pneumonia, undergoing treatment for COVID-19

On May 21, Head of the Neurosurgery Unit at Armenia Medical Center Davit Patrikyan was transferred to Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center with the novel coronavirus and serious two-sided pneumonia.

“I’m in the risk group, if you can call it that. I’m 68 years old, have diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. Basically, the novel coronavirus could have been crucial for me,” Patrikyan said and thanked his fellow doctors for helping save his life.
