Armenia ranks 13th in number of COVID-19 cases per one million residents

Armenia now ranks 13th in the world in the number of coronavirus cases per one million inhabitants.

According to worldometers.info/coronavirus/, a total of 18,698 cases of COVID-19 have already been registered in the country, and this means 6,310 cases per one million residents.

To note that on June 8, Armenia was in the 20th place in this regard, on June 5—in the 22nd place, and on June 3—in the 28th place.

As before, Qatar, San Marino, and the Vatican are the top three countries in the world in this respect, with 29,622, 20,513 and 14,981 COVID-19 cases, respectively, per one million inhabitants.

The US, which ranks first in the world in terms of the absolute number of infected (2,234,475), today ranks 11th in the world in the number of cases per million people (6,752), while Luxembourg ranks 12th, Spain ranked 14th and Sweden is 16th.
