Armenia ranks 21st in COVID-19 death toll per million population

Armenia ranks 21st in terms of the COVID-19 death toll per million population (284). In terms of the absolute number of deaths, Armenia now ranks 49th in the world (842, 6 in the last 24 hours).

According to https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/, 42,477 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Armenia since the beginning of the pandemic. Based on this indicator, the country is currently in 54th place in the world. The first place is taken by the US (5,746,534), the second - by Brazil (3,505,097), and the third - by India (2,910,032).

In terms of the number of cases of infection per million population, Qatar ranks first (41,393), French Guiana is second (29,174), and Bahrain is third (28,265). Armenia ranks 13th in the world in terms of cases per million.

And in the number of deaths per million population in the world, San Marino is in the lead (1237). Belgium is now in second place (860), Peru is third (818).

The total number of COVID-19 cases has reached 22,885,368. The death toll has reached 797,485 and 15,534,674 have recovered. 6,553,209 people are currently undergoing treatment, 61,845 (1%) of them are in severe or critical condition.
