A coronavirus vaccine being developed by the University of Oxford may be ready for Christmas. However, by this time, most likely, it will be possible to produce no more than 4 million doses, so only key workers will be able to receive the vaccine.

According to The Daily Mail, the joint project of the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford is currently considered the most promising COVID-19 vaccine.

The third stage of the vaccine study is already being completed, after which it will be able to officially register it.

Pfizer is expected to produce 10 million doses of its vaccine by January, which is also completing its third phase of trials. Numerous health-care workers and the elderly are expected to receive the vaccine first, as they are at the risk group.
