According to RIA Novosti, the use of budesonide, a drug used for asthma, speeds up the recovery process in case of coronavirus infection. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, and immunosuppressive effects.

As scientists noted, thanks to budesonide, patients recovered on average faster by 3 days. According to the researchers, this discovery can be called a milestone for the pandemic.
