Omicron-infected warned of new disease symptom

Those infected with the omicron strain of coronavirus have recently begun facing a new symptom that causes pain more often, said Russian allergist-immunologist Vladimir Bolibok.

The matter is about hyperesthesia - hypersensitivity of the organism: the patient has pain all over the body, told the specialist URA.RU.

According to Bolibok, if one touches the person, nothing hurts, but if one presses his hands, then the skin, muscles, bones - everywhere there is pain, up to the point of screaming.

Hyperesthesia can develop in a person because of lesions of peripheral nerves. The patient may also feel numbness, tingling, pain, cold, or something else in different parts of the body, says immunologist, general director of the contract research company KEG, candidate of medical sciences Nikolay Kryuchkov.
