Five healthy drinks for the figure

Dietitian physician Rohini Patil named five healthy beverages for your figure in a piece for Health Shots.

  1. Detox tea containing dandelion, ginger, and licorice root, she says, helps improve digestion
  2. Warm water with turmeric. Mix turmeric powder with warm water and a little honey or lemon to make another great drink to start the day. Water with turmeric helps digestion, speeds up metabolism, and helps reduce bloating, explained the doctor.
  3. Ghee water. According to Rohini Patil, this combination is rich in healthy fats, helps digestion, and prolongs the feeling of satiety.
  4. Water with apple cider vinegar, honey and lemon juice. According to a nutritionist, this drink reduces bloating, helps break down fat and lowers blood sugar levels.
  5. Vitamin C-rich lemon water. Drinking lemon water in the morning can help flush out toxins and ease indigestion, Patil explained.
