Health minister: Certain stabilization observed in terms of acute respiratory infections in Armenia

Certain stabilization is observed at the moment in terms of acute respiratory infections in Armenia. Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan told reporters about this after Thursday’s Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government.

"Due to seasonality, there may be another wave [of acute respiratory infections in Armenia] in the period from the end of February to the beginning of March, in which case we will take the necessary measures," said the health minister.

In December, the Ministry of Health had reported that there was an active occurrence of acute respiratory infections and influenza in Armenia.
