Armenia performs its first robotic bladder removal surgery

For the first time in Armenia, a radical cystectomy was performed at the Erebuni Medical Center using a robotic surgical system.

"This is a very complex and major surgical procedure. It is performed extremely rarely and only in a small number of medical centers, using an open surgical approach. It is a great honor for me to be the first to perform this operation," says urologist Arman Tsaturyan.
