Anti-Cancer Associations of China, Egypt and Kazakhstan Support Gevorg Tamamyan’s Candidacy

International messages of support for Gevorg Tamamyan’s candidacy continue to be issued. His candidacy has received support from the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), which has more than 870,000 members, the Egyptian Cancer Society (ECS), as well as the Kazakhstan Cancer Association. They highlighted his experience in oncology and international cooperation, as well as his work to improve access to healthcare and strengthen health systems.

The election of the next WHO Director-General is scheduled for 2027.
