Conference on the quality of life of cancer patients to take place in Minsk

Social and educational institution «Center support of cancer patients «In the Name of Life» organizes the First International scientific and practical conference “The quality of life of cancer patients: systematic approach to organizing assistance after active treatment”, which will take place in Minsk (Belarus) on 11-12 June, 2015.

This conference aims to exchange experience of rehabilitation and social adaptation of cancer patients in European countries and the EU Eastern Partnership countries, to discuss issues and prospects for long-term cooperation.

Mission of our organization is to improve the quality of life of cancer patients through cooperation of all stakeholders.

Main themes of the Conference are:

• problems of conceptualization of the recovery period (survivorship);
• prevention of relapse;
• modern opportunities in pharmacology, phytotherapy, physical therapy, oncology nutrition;
• psychological help to cancer patients and their families;
• professional and social adaptation; opportunities of cancer patients’ non-profit organizations and their place in modern society.

The final conference program will be prepared and sent to you no later than 15 May.

Working languages in the conference are English, Belarusian and Russian.
