Mum-of-four who went through the trauma of a stillbirth and FIFTEEN miscarriages finally has the family she always dreamed of

After experiencing the trauma of fifteen miscarriages and a stillbirth, a mum finally has the family she’s always dreamed of… including three children under the age of four.

Proud mum-of-four, Laura Dove, spent years of her life dreaming of being able to have children of her own.

The 36-year-old mum, from Chorley, Lancashire, had three miscarriages before giving birth to her son Lewis in 2004.

Although Laura never struggled to conceive, she tragically lost her babies between six and 12 weeks through pregnancy.

She explained: “When I first miscarried, I couldn’t tell anything felt different…

“It was heartbreaking to lose the babies, but we were still quite optimistic at that point.

“We were so young, we just thought we’d try again.”

The hopeful mum experienced her biggest heartbreak during her pregnancy with her little boy Joseph.

She explained: “When I’m pregnant I don’t get a big bump, so with Joseph I had growth scans every two weeks.

“They said he was slightly small so I was monitored a lot.”

Tragically, during a routine check-up at 36 weeks, doctors broke the tragic news that baby Joseph had passed away.

Laura recalled: “We were both completely numb and went into autopilot.

“I naively thought they would do a caesarean, but I was told I would be induced…

“I didn’t think I would be put through all that. But they had to think about what was safest for me.”

Laura met her second husband Gareth in 2010, and the pair started trying for children

After the grief-stricken parents lost Joseph, Laura battled with depression as the marriage to her first husband broke-down.

Even though Laura worried she’d never be able to start her own family, she fell head-over-heels for her partner Gareth in 2010 and the pair knew immediately that they wanted children.

As the couple desperately tried for a successful pregnancy, they were forced to deal with more miscarriages.

Laura said: “We lost our first one at nine weeks, and several more in the first year of trying…

“A new consultant said I could have daily injections of a blood thinner next time.

“It wasn’t a surefire method but we had nothing to lose.”

Miraculously, the treatment worked, as Laura gave birth to her daughter Eva.

The delighted mum remembered: “We told Lewis he was going to have a baby sister, but I wouldn’t buy a single Babygro.

“I was convinced she would die and I couldn’t get excited.

“Despite the stress, after she was born we said we might eventually try for another.”

After her horrific ordeal, Laura could finally settle down with the family she always dreamed on, having another daughter and son with her partner Gareth.

She explained: “I miscarried so many times before we finally had our daughter, quickly followed by another daughter and a son.”

Though life is now chaotic, Laura says she never takes a moment for granted and counts herself lucky for being a mum to four healthy children.

She said: “Because of everything we went through, when I’m tired I just stop and think about how lucky I am. I have four perfect children.”
