What is best alcoholic beverage to drink in hot weather?

In hot weather it is better to drink white dry wine diluted with water and lemon, Evgeny Bryun, chief freelance psychiatrist-drug specialist of the Russian Ministry of Health and the Moscow Department of Health, told RIA Novosti.
"The more we drink alcohol, the more damage we do to our body. And as for the additional various components - wine, beer, spirits - the lightest drink, the least harmful is dry white wine," said the specialist.
According to him, alcohol damages the body, puts additional strain on the liver and cardiovascular system. At the same time white dry wine with lemon in hot weather can quench thirst and replenish the water and salt balance.
At the same time, the psychiatrist-drug therapist recommended to give preference to non-alcoholic drinks: water or herbal tea.
