500 people died from influenza from the beginning of the year in Mexico
From the beginning of 2014 in Mexico from various strains of influenza died 505 people, according to the Ministry of Health of this Latin American country.
The cases of lethal end were mostly in people infected with swine flu A/H1N1: 464 cases. The total number of cases of influenza is 4.5 thousand, of which more than 3, 7 thousand are people infected with swine flu.
According to authorities, during the last several days 17 people at once died from the flu. Health specialists note, that people aged 30-59 with diabetes and obesity are in the group of risk.
Recall that the first outbreak of the virus strain, which was immediately called swine flu, since it was first detected in pigs, occurred in April 2009 in Mexico. Within a short period of time A/H1N1 flu swept large number of countries.
