How to resolve facial swelling?

Consumption of certain foods can cause facial swelling. Therefore, people with such a problem should be more careful when choosing foods for their diet, according to RIA Novosti.

Nutritionist Irina Karayeva recommends to first of all to avoid dairy products and sugar in order to fight against facial swelling. Instead, use dairy products made from goat's milk or without lactose.

"Sugar increases the level of insulin in the blood, and hinders the effectiveness of water. Gluten, as well as whole wheat bread and flour, can be a major cause of inflammation. Excess gluten harms everyone. Try to give it up for a month or two, and you will notice pleasant changes," explained the specialist.

According to her, the main mistake during the swelling is dehydration due to insufficient water use.

"Eliminate those foods from your diet, start a healthy lifestyle, drink enough water, and go to bed on time. And in a week or two you will no longer be bothered by the swelling, and energy will appear," said the nutritionist.
