According to experts, the hormonal background changes with age, the metabolism slows down and muscle mass decreases, and all these factors can negatively affect the figure, but there are some simple rules that will help to keep your shape and lose weight.

Nutritionist Jonathan Valdez advises eating more soluble and insoluble fiber, which helps prolong the feeling of satiety. And to maintain muscle, it is recommended to eat 25 to 30 grams of protein at each meal.

Valdez also recommends eating a hearty breakfast of healthy foods and drinking green tea more often, which contains antioxidants that affect fat cells.

Nutritionist Colleen Tewksbury advises keeping a diary and writing down the goal of a lifestyle change and the steps you can take to reach your goal.

Weight control is a whole area where real experts work. It's important to build a supportive team to achieve long-term weight loss goals, said the specialist.
