Physician Lyudmila Lapa told Evening Moscow how to protect yourself in the summer heat.

According to her, in such weather, the risk of hypertensive crisis increases. The doctor said that it is necessary to limit physical activity and hide from the sun.

The therapist advised to wear light, not tight clothing, which will not restrict the movement. Moreover, it is important to protect yourself with a hat.

The specialist also advised to pay close attention to the water balance in the body. According to her, it is better to refuse cold drinks in favor of warm tea or water.

Lapa concluded that meals should be light and limited. Large amounts of food can overload the body.

"Eat light meals in this weather. It is also better that breakfast, lunch and dinner consist of one meal, not ten different dishes. I do not recommend to eat the first course, the second course, limit yourself to a light vegetable soup or a salad. Do not overload your body - this is the most important thing," she said.

In addition, the doctor reminded that in this heat is dangerous not only the sun, but also the atmospheric pressure.
