World-renowned interventional cardiologist Alfredo Galassi to perform surgeries at Best Life Medical Center in Yerevan
Alfredo Galassi, the world-famous doctor, interventional cardiologist and founder of Euro CTO Club, will be in Armenia once again, from December 18 to 20. The professor is a lecturer at the University of Zurich, and is the author and co-author of five books.
At the Armenian-Japanese Best Life Medical Center in Yerevan, the doctor will perform surgeries to open chronic occlusions, with retrograde and anterograde techniques, stenting of coronary vessels in the both chronic and complex strictures.
All modern imaging methods will be used: IVUS (intravascular ultrasound), OCT (optical coherence tomography), FFR (fractional flow reserve), shockwave (used before stent implantation to open blocked or narrowed arteries supplying blood to the heart), with the help of rotational atherectomy rotablator, etc.
These surgeries will be conducted jointly with Chief Doctor Karen Hambardzumyan and Assistant Director Khachik Hambardzumyan.
