What fruits and vegetables are healthy until the end of spring? Yulia Pigareva, therapist and nutritionist, tells.

Seasonal vegetables have more useful properties than unseasonal ones. However, one cannot compare tomatoes and cucumbers with carrots, potatoes and beets, because these products have a different composition and amount of vitamins. For example, potatoes contain more carbohydrates than tomatoes - 17 grams and 3.2 grams, respectively, the expert told the Prime agency.

According to the expert, it is recommended to eat apples, beets, potatoes and carrots until the end of winter. You can also eat greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers. In addition, the nutritionist advised taking vitamins and vitamin complexes during the fall and winter.

"As a rule, we can not get all the necessary vitamins and minerals from food, so it is better to replenish them with supplements. Ideally - do tests and pick up a complex on the basis of the results. If there is no such a possibility, you can choose a multivitamin complex, but you also need to consult a doctor beforehand, " said Pigareva.
