The specialist said that you can support the body with physical activity. She recommended exercising, walking outdoors, practicing yoga, and aromatherapy and breathing practices.

"Vitamin deficiencies can make things worse. B vitamins are involved in the metabolic processes of the nervous system and also soothe and strengthen it. Minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iodine, zinc also help transmit nerve impulses and improve brain function," Pisareva said.

She advised in stressful situations to include in your diet cereals, bread, lean meat, seafood, fruits, vegetables, seaweed and bitter chocolate.
